Check out what a Drystack customer has to say about our service here.
Convenient Launching
By using the Drystack at Trafalgar Wharf, you can put the days of standing partly submerged in freezing water on a slippery slipway firmly behind you. To get your boat in the water, all you have to do is call us in advance and, when you arrive, it will be waiting on the pontoon.
There’s no limit on the number of launches with our drystack service and Trafalgar Wharf offers full tidal access, so you’re not constrained by the tide. We’re open seven days a week, all year round, so you can slip out on to the water whenever you want.
NEW - Valet Fuelling Service
We are very proud to announce that our new valet re-fuelling station is officially open! We'll re-fuel your boat and all payments are automated so no cash required and definitely no hanging around at the pump! We'll have your boat re-fuelled and waiting on the pontoon for when you arrive.
NEW - Sea Start Offer
Also new to The Drystack is our Sea Start offer. Free of charge and open to all annual Drystack customers, this offer will give you the peace of mind that if you break down at sea, or even on the pontoon, help is at hand 365 days of the year, a bit like the AA or RAC for your boat!
Stress-free Storage
We use an industry-leading Wiggins Marine boatlift to transport boats to and from the water at the Drystack at Trafalgar Wharf, and all of our staff are expertly trained. So, whether your boat is being stored or launched, it is treated with great care and precision.
And, before we move your boat to our undercover drystack storage, our specialist team will wash it down and check it for damage.
Save on Maintenance
By storing your boat at the Drystack at Trafalgar Wharf, you’ll spend less money on maintenance. Maintaining a 10-metre boat stored at a marina costs, on average, over £2,000 per year – use our drystack service and you can save more than £1,700! Take a look at a comparative cost table.

Unbeatable Security
Boats stored at the Drystack at Trafalgar Wharf benefit from unbeatable safety and security. Using our drystack storage service means that you’ll never turn up to find that your boat has sunk or been damaged. It will be fully protected from the elements, including storms.
Your boat will also be protected by the 24-hour security service, including CCTV surveillance, at Trafalgar Wharf. Out of normal hours, our drystack storage facility is kept locked, so your boat couldn’t be safer.
Retain market value
By using the Drystack at Trafalgar Wharf, your boat will be worth more for longer. Boats stored in a drystack facility hold their market value because their condition is better. Brokers attach a premium of 10-15% for boats that have been stored in this way.
All of this means that, should you sell, more money goes into your pocket. The extra value you achieve on a sale could even offset your drystack storage fees.
Superb Facilities
Boat owners that use the Drystack at Trafalgar Wharf have access to the superb facilities at our site. We offer free, secure parking, a great place to have a drink and something to eat in the Waterside Cafe Bar, and a smart new toilet and shower block.
There is also a comprehensive network of marine businesses at Trafalgar Wharf. So, whether you need parts, products, services or advice, help is at hand.
Great Location
The Drystack at Trafalgar Wharf is in a great location. We’re just five minutes from the M27, and Port Solent, with all its restaurants, shops and entertainment, is just over the water.
Access to the Solent is fast and easy. From the Trafalgar Wharf pontoon, you can be at the mouth of Portsmouth Harbour in less than 20 minutes.
