Portsmouth Harbour and the Solent are famous throughout the boating world.

The historic dockyard, home to the Royal Navy is also the location of the world's first dry dock.

(We're pleased to be keeping up the boating firsts with our Portsmouth Drystack, which is the biggest in the UK!

The home to the Royal Navy has three remarkable ships...which are;

HMS Victory, Nelson's flagship at Trafalgar.
HMS Warrior the first ironclad warship.
The Mary Rose, Henry VIII's warship that sank in the Solent off of Southsea Castle.

It's not surprising that these are in the top ten visitor attractions in the UK.
